Aculab will display two of its newest communications products at the Internet Telephony Conference and Expo (IT Expo), scheduled for October 4-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Highlighting Aculab’s participation will be the display of Aculab’s much-heralded AMS Server application development platform. This highly flexible offering enables developers, service providers and enterprises to create telephony-based applications faster and more cost-effectively. Aculab will also showcase the most recent version of its successful ApplianX IP Gateway with v2.20 software. These products, as well as other Aculab technologies, will be on display at booth 306 throughout the exhibition.
“IT Expo has evolved into one of the industry’s foremost events for communications technology providers, resellers, and customers,” said Chris Gravett, Sales and Marketing Director for Aculab. “We can think of no better venue to unveil our latest innovations, which have been developed specifically to address marketplace needs and growing market segments.”
AMS Server gives developers more choices for creating telephony-based applications through its API support of both C# and Python, the preferred languages of many business-oriented application writers. Both languages have been widely used for several years, and are considered less cumbersome and more flexible than the more traditional C and C++ languages.
In addition to the AMS Server, Aculab will display its recently announced ApplianX IP Gateway¬ v2.20. A resilient, single-purpose, plug-and-play device designed for both enterprise and service provider environments. The latest version of the ApplianX IP Gateway includes a number of new features, such as complete IP fax capabilities with the introduction of full T.38 fax interoperability.
