Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 allows companies to integrate VoIP technology into existing telephony infrastructure, eliminating the need for expensive network overhauls and also extending the useful life of existing investments. There are, however, many components required including: OCS 2007; Mediation server; gateways; phones and edge servers. Will the deployment of OCS 2007 be within one or across multiple offices? Is total cost of ownership a primary concern? Will it be integrated with Microsoft Exchange? These are all considerations that need to be made to ensure full advantage is gained from the deployment. All these factors can present a daunting prospect to those new to voice integration.
This webinar will identify the critical components required for voice, typical deployment scenarios and steps to success. Focus will be placed onto the gateway component, whereby a checklist of requirements will be presented to help ensure the correct gateway is selected to fulfil a particular VoIP strategy. After the presentation, the Webinar will be open for a live Q&A. Be sure to have your questions ready!
